Rumors had been swirling earlier in the day after Cyrus, in Paris for Spotify’s Billions Club Live, was seen soundchecking with Beyoncé. Their performance marked a major highlight of the tour, which is now just past its halfway point.
“II Most Wanted,” the third single from Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album released in March 2024, earned the duo a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
Cyrus revealed she had written the song over two years earlier and felt it was the perfect fit for their Southern roots, saying, “We don’t have to get country; we are country.”
Following her shows in Paris, Beyoncé will resume her U.S. tour dates, with upcoming performances in Houston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Las Vegas, wrapping up the tour on July 26.
