RHOM newcomer Stephanie Shojaee reveals why she chose a child-free life, prioritizing wealth and ambition: “I wanted to be filthy rich,” she says.

Stephanie Shojaee made a memorable debut on The Real Housewives of Miami during the July 2 episode, boldly opening up about her personal choices and unapologetically embracing her ambition.
The 40-year-old Miami native and new cast member quickly caught the attention of viewers with her candid views on motherhood and her drive for success.
Introduced by longtime friend Larsa Pippen, Stephanie met with some of the other Housewives—Julia Lemigova and Marysol Patton—for drinks.
Before their meeting, Larsa humorously warned the group that Stephanie isn’t fond of children, noting one of her signature sayings: “Birkins and boogers don’t go together.”
The comment hinted at Stephanie’s lifestyle and priorities, which she later confirmed in her own words.
When the conversation shifted to Julia’s experience adopting two young boys, Stephanie reacted with visible unease at the mention of diapers.
The scene then cut to a voiceover of Stephanie walking through her office, saying, “I knew at a very young age that I wanted to be filthy rich.”
As president of the Shoma Group, a prominent real estate development firm in South Florida, she’s made that dream a reality.
Stephanie elaborated in a confessional that she is so committed to her career, she sometimes wakes in the middle of the night thinking, “We gotta make money.”
While she did consider motherhood at one point, Stephanie explained why it never became a priority.
“I did have moments where I thought, ‘Hey maybe you will want kids, maybe you should freeze your eggs.’
And then I looked at my calendar and I don’t even have time to go to the doctor to freeze my eggs.
I don’t really have time to go pee,” she joked, highlighting the non-stop pace of her life.
Despite being married to Masoud Shojaee, the CEO of Shoma Group, Stephanie is firm in asserting her own achievements.
“I’m not where I am because I married Masoud Shojaee,” she stated. “Yes, maybe I got a little bit of help, but everybody in life gets a little bit of help.”
Stephanie also reflected on how she and Masoud met—at a Miami Heat game when she was 26 and he was 50.
At first, the age difference concerned her, especially due to the stereotype that younger women dating older men are gold diggers.
She initially backed out of their first date, but after meeting again a year later, she decided to give him a chance.
Despite being two hours late for their dinner, Masoud ultimately won her over.
“Had I not paid for my hair and makeup, I probably would have not gone,” she joked, adding that they’ve “been together since that day.”
The Real Housewives of Miami airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo and streams the following day on Peacock.
