Amy and her daughter Aviana make their red carpet debut at the Nightbitch premiere
Amy Adams had a special moment on the red carpet with her daughter, Aviana, and husband, Darren Le Gallo. The family attended the premiere of Amy’s new movie Nightbitch on September 7, 2024, at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Amy, who is 50 years old, wore a beautiful blue dress that sparkled, while her 14-year-old daughter, Aviana, made her first red carpet appearance in a simple black dress. It was a big night for Amy, not only because of the movie but also because she had her daughter with her to celebrate.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Amy said it was exciting to share the night with Aviana, but she also wanted to be careful about what parts of the movie she let her see since some of it might not be suitable for her.
The movie, Nightbitch, is about a mom who starts to believe she’s turning into a dog, which is a little strange and funny at the same time. Amy plays the lead role and is also a producer for the film. She explained that becoming a mom has changed her life in amazing ways and has made her the person she is today.
“I tell Aviana all the time how much she’s made my life better,” Amy said. “I’m happy she’s here with me tonight to celebrate.”

Amy also talked about turning 50, which she celebrated on August 20. Instead of feeling worried about getting older, Amy said she feels great and is thankful for everything in her life.
“I feel wonderful at 50,” Amy told PEOPLE. “I feel really grateful and happy to be here.”
In the movie Nightbitch, Amy plays a mom who leaves her job to take care of her child full-time, but things start to get a little strange in her life. The story comes from a book written by Rachel Yoder in 2021, and Amy was excited to bring it to the big screen.

Amy has always been open about how much being a mom means to her. Back in 2017, she said she wants to be a role model for Aviana and help her feel strong and confident.
“I want Aviana to know that she can be anything she wants to be,” Amy said. “She has her own special light, and nothing about my success should ever make her feel less important.”
With Nightbitch coming to theaters on December 6, Amy is happy to share this exciting moment with her family by her side.
