In May 2024, model Crystal McKinney filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that in 2003, Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her at his New York City recording studio.

McKinney claimed that after meeting Combs during Men’s Fashion Week, he invited her to his studio, where she was offered alcohol and marijuana.

She believes the substances were laced, leading to her intoxication. McKinney alleged that Combs then coerced her into performing oral sex.

Following the incident, she stated that her modeling career suffered, and she experienced severe emotional distress, including depression and a suicide attempt.

Crystal McKinney’s Allegations Against Harvey Weinstein

In a separate legal action, McKinney filed a lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein in February 2025, which was amended in May 2025.

She alleged that in 2003, she and a friend were invited to a business meeting with Weinstein at a West Village lounge.

Weinstein suggested moving the meeting to his hotel room, citing the lounge’s noise. At the hotel, McKinney claimed Weinstein provided them with alcohol and then sexually assaulted both women.

She stated that they complied out of fear and later suffered emotional trauma.

Legal Proceedings and Responses

Harvey Weinstein’s attorney, Imran H. Ansari, has denied McKinney’s allegations, describing them as opportunistic and unfounded.

Weinstein, previously convicted in New York State for rape and sexual assault in 2020, had his convictions overturned in April 2024 due to a ruling that he didn’t receive a fair trial.

He remains incarcerated in New York on separate charges.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently on trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty.
