Eddie Murphy made a notable appearance at the world premiere of the much-anticipated film “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F,” surrounded by his close family members.

The premiere took place on June 20 at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, marking a significant moment for the 63-year-old actor and comedian.

Murphy was joined on the red carpet by three of his daughters—Bria, 34, Shayne Audra, 29, and Bella, 22—who he shares with his ex-wife, Nicole Murphy.

Also by his side was his fiancée, Paige Butcher, 44. The family’s presence highlighted the strong support system Murphy enjoys as he continues his celebrated career in Hollywood.

At the event, Bria, who makes a cameo appearance in the new film, and Shayne Audra coordinated their outfits, both opting for green ensembles that stood out amidst the star-studded crowd.

Bella chose a timeless little black dress, while Butcher turned heads in a striking strapless scarlet midi dress.

Eddie himself kept it classic and cool with a dark T-shirt, black jacket, matching pants, and sunglasses.

The premiere also saw the attendance of several supporting cast members, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Bacon, Judge Reinhold, and Paul Reiser.

Their presence underscored the collaborative effort behind the film, which is the fourth installment in the iconic “Beverly Hills Cop” franchise.

“Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” continues the story of Detroit detective Axel Foley, portrayed by Murphy, as he returns to Beverly Hills to thwart a conspiracy against his daughter Jane’s life, played by Taylour Paige.

The plot brings together old friends, like Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and Taggart (John Ashton), as well as new allies, including Det. Bobby Abbott (Joseph Gordon-Levitt).

This film marks the first new addition to the “Beverly Hills Cop” series in nearly three decades, following the release of “Beverly Hills Cop III” in 1994.

The long-awaited sequel has generated considerable excitement among fans of the franchise, eager to see Murphy reprise one of his most beloved roles.

Earlier in June, Murphy shared insights about the filming experience during an interview on the Today show with Al Roker.

He recounted a particularly memorable moment involving his daughter Bria and son-in-law Michael Xavier, who both have roles in the film.

Murphy humorously recalled how Michael, who married Bria in 2022, tased him in the neck for a scene.

“She’s the one who arrests me,” Murphy said of Bria’s cameo, adding, “In the other scene when I get arrested in the movie, that’s my son-in-law tasing me in the neck.”

The family connection extends beyond the screen, as Michael and Bria’s wedding last year featured a heartfelt moment where Murphy slow-danced with his daughter to Stevie Wonder’s classic hit, “Isn’t She Lovely.”

The film’s release on Netflix, set for July 3, is eagerly awaited. “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” promises to deliver the same blend of action and humor that has defined the franchise, while also introducing new elements and characters to keep the story fresh for both old and new fans.

As the red carpet event concluded, it was clear that Murphy’s family played a significant role in this chapter of his career.

Their support and involvement in the film highlight a unique dynamic, blending professional collaboration with personal bonds.

The premiere not only celebrated the film’s upcoming release but also showcased the enduring legacy of Eddie Murphy in Hollywood.

In conclusion, the “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” premiere was more than just a promotional event; it was a family affair that underscored the close-knit relationships that Murphy cherishes.

With the film set to entertain audiences soon, Murphy’s latest venture is poised to add another successful chapter to his storied career.
