Hans Zimmer joins ”Euphoria” Season 3 as composer alongside Labrinth, promising an epic new score as production resumes for a 2026 release.
Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer is the latest musical force to join HBO’s hit drama Euphoria, signing on to score the show’s highly anticipated third season.
Zimmer, whose storied career includes sprawling, emotional soundscapes for films like Interstellar, Gladiator and The Lion King, expressed excitement about contributing to a series already renowned for its bold storytelling. “It’s an honor to join this incredible team of storytellers led by the visionary Sam Levinson,” Zimmer said, noting that he’s eager to help shape the tone and emotional journey of Season 3 through music.
Alongside Zimmer, the show will welcome back Labrinth, the British artist who crafted the moody, genre-blurring score that defined Seasons 1 and 2.
Labrinth—known offscreen as Timothy McKenzie—helped forge Euphoria’s musical identity with standout tracks like “All for Us” and “I’m Tired,” both performed by lead actress Zendaya. “Another chapter in the Euphoria universe! So great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film score, and bring some new magic to this new season.
Love x,” Labrinth shared, underscoring the collaborative spirit behind the project.
Showrunner Sam Levinson praised the pairing of these two musical giants, revealing that he “wrote this season to the score of Interstellar and True Romance,” and has been inspired by Zimmer’s work “ingrained in the creative DNA” of Euphoria from the start.
Levinson called the opportunity to work with both Zimmer and Labrinth “a true honor,” and hinted that their combined talents will push the series’ sound—and its storytelling—to exciting new heights.
After a lengthy delay, principal photography on Season 3 began earlier in 2025. The core cast—Zendaya’s Rue; Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie; Hunter Schafer’s Jules; Jacob Elordi’s Nate; and Eric Dane’s Cal, among others—have all returned.
They’ll be joined by a splash of fresh faces, including Sharon Stone, chart-topping singer Rosalía, NFL icon Marshawn Lynch, and actors Adewale Akinnuoye‑Agbaje, Kadeem Hardison, and Priscilla Delgado.
