Foo Fighters return to stadiums in 2026 with Queens of the Stone Age and unveil their powerful new single “Asking for a Friend.”

Foo Fighters are ready to rock stadiums once again in 2026 — and they’re bringing along their longtime friends and fellow rock icons, Queens of the Stone Age.
The Dave Grohl-led band announced an extensive North American stadium tour kicking off August 4th at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Canada, marking their first large-scale trek since the “Everything or Nothing at All” tour of 2023–2024.
The highly anticipated tour will hit some of the biggest venues across the continent, including Ford Field in Detroit, Soldier Field in Chicago, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., BC Place in Vancouver, and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Queens of the Stone Age will perform as direct support on all dates except for the September 12th show in Fargo, where Mannequin Pussy and Gouge Away will join the lineup.
Fans eager to secure tickets can mark their calendars — general sales begin on Friday, October 31st at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Subscribers to the Foo Fighters Newsletter will gain early access through a pre-sale starting Tuesday, October 28th, while a general artist pre-sale follows on Wednesday, October 29th.
This tour represents a major moment for the Foo Fighters, who recently reignited their live momentum through a series of intimate club shows and international arena performances. Reflecting on the band’s renewed energy, frontman Dave Grohl said in a statement, “Since our return to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we’ve been reminded of why we love doing this Foo Fighters thing.
From reuniting as a band and brushing off 30 years of songs to reimagining versions with Ilan Rubin behind the drums — the sun is finally rising over the horizon.”
Alongside the tour announcement, Foo Fighters dropped a brand-new single, “Asking for a Friend.” The song delivers a darker, more introspective tone than their previous release, “Today’s Song,” as Grohl passionately sings, “What is real? I’m asking for a friend…” Describing the track, Grohl explained, “It’s a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear.”
The band also recently released a surprise live album, Foo Fighters – Are Playing Where ??? Vol. 1, exclusively on Bandcamp, giving fans an extra treat as they prepare for another monumental year of rock.
