Struggling actress uncovers a deadly Hollywood cabal, turning the tables on a secret world of real-life snuff films.

New Zealand-based genre sales outfit Black Mandala has acquired worldwide rights to Hollywood Hells, a shocking new thriller that delves into the sinister underbelly of the entertainment industry.
The deal comes just ahead of the upcoming American Film Market (AFM), where the project is expected to generate strong interest from international buyers.
According to the official synopsis, the film follows a struggling actress who is invited to an exclusive Hollywood party, only to uncover a secret cabal of industry power players producing real-life snuff films for the elite.
Trapped in their twisted world, she turns their cameras against them — transforming from prey to avenger and directing their ultimate downfall. The story is described as a razor-sharp commentary on celebrity culture, where the pursuit of fame and the lure of death dangerously intertwine.
The cast features a mix of established and emerging talent, including Fernanda Romero (The Curse of Wolf Mountain), Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills 90210, Desperate Housewives), comedian Jiaoying Summers (Hot Girl Summers: Comedy InvAsian), and producer-actor Bruna Rubio (Vampiras: The Brides, The House).
Together, they bring a blend of horror, satire, and suspense to a project that aims to push the boundaries of genre storytelling.
Produced by U.S.-based Goldheart Productions, Hollywood Hells continues the company’s reputation for provocative and visually daring horror fare. Goldheart previously earned recognition on the festival circuit with projects like Vampiras: The Brides and Mermaid Killer, both of which premiered at Sitges, one of the world’s leading genre film festivals.
The new film has already been showcased at HorrorHound, Cinema Scares, and Bloody Mirror, with additional festival screenings scheduled.
The collaboration between Goldheart Productions and Black Mandala also reflects an expanding creative relationship between the two companies. They are currently developing another feature titled #Abominable, further cementing their partnership within the global horror market.
Founded in 2017 by Michael Kraetzer and Nicolas Onetti, Black Mandala has quickly grown into a leading name in independent horror and genre film distribution. Based in Auckland, the company manages more than 100 titles and maintains a consistent presence at major international film markets, including Cannes, Berlin, and AFM.
Known for championing bold, visually striking films, Black Mandala continues to serve as a vital platform for genre filmmakers worldwide — and Hollywood Hells looks to be its next chilling standout.
