Lopez and Damon reconnect at TIFF after her divorce from Affleck
Jennifer Lopez and her friend Matt Damon had a great time together at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 6. They were there for the premiere of their new movie, Unstoppable.
Lopez and Damon, who have known each other for a long time, were seen talking for a long time at the party after the movie. A source said they laughed, talked seriously, and even held hands while chatting. Matt’s wife, Luciana, and actor Don Cheadle were also at the table with them.
This was Lopez’s first big event since she filed for divorce from her husband Ben Affleck on August 20, after being married for two years. Affleck, who helped produce the movie with Damon through their company, wasn’t at the event. It had been confirmed earlier that he wouldn’t attend.
In Unstoppable, Lopez plays the role of Judy Robles, the mother of Anthony Robles, a wrestler born with one leg who won a national championship in 2011. After the movie ended, Lopez received a big round of applause from the audience.
