Jeremy Allen White, renowned for his role in “The Bear,” is recognized by fans as “Chef,” but to his daughters, he’s simply Dad.

The 33-year-old actor shared insights into his family life during an interview with Entertainment Tonight on June 25 at the premiere of the show’s third season.

White discussed how his daughters, Ezer, 5, and Dolores, 3, whom he shares with ex-wife Addison Timlin, react to his fan-given nickname and public attention.

“Fans coming up to me and calling me ‘chef’ is confusing and strange for my daughters,” White admitted.

Although his girls are aware of the nickname, they haven’t seen much of the show. “They know about the show, but they haven’t watched it,” White explained.

White humorously shared that his oldest daughter, Ezzy, enjoys the first couple of minutes of the pilot episode. “She really likes the scene where I get scared by a bear and fall on my butt. She asks to watch that part a lot,” he said with a laugh. However, beyond that snippet, Ezzy hasn’t watched any more of the series.

The actor is uncertain about when he’ll let his daughters watch more of “The Bear.” “I don’t know if we’re even ready to have that conversation,” he told the outlet, indicating that it’s a decision that will take time and consideration.

White’s connection with his daughters extends beyond their limited viewing of his work.

Speaking to PEOPLE after winning the SAG Award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a comedy series earlier this year, White shared a heartwarming detail about how his daughters view his achievements.

He noted that his daughters would be keeping an eye on his award at home. “They’ve started calling these Daddy’s trophy winner cups, and they really like them, so they can hang onto them for me,” he said proudly.

White’s dedication to his family and his role as a father shines through in his interactions with his daughters. Despite his rising fame and the adoration from fans, he remains grounded and focused on being present for his girls. His experiences highlight the balancing act many actors face between their professional and personal lives.

“The Bear,” which has garnered critical acclaim and a strong fanbase, showcases White’s talent and versatility as an actor.

His portrayal of a talented yet troubled chef has resonated with audiences, earning him accolades and recognition. However, for White, the most meaningful recognition comes from his daughters’ affection and pride.

As White navigates his career and parenthood, he maintains a sense of humor and humility. His daughters’ reactions to his success and public persona provide a unique perspective on the impact of fame on family life.

While fans see him as “Chef,” his daughters see him as the loving and dedicated father who entertains them with funny scenes and brings home “trophy winner cups.”

The actor’s reflections on his daughters’ responses to his work and public attention offer a glimpse into the challenges and joys of balancing a high-profile career with family responsibilities.

White’s commitment to keeping his daughters’ experiences and feelings at the forefront underscores his devotion to his role as a father.

In an industry often characterized by glitz and glamour, Jeremy Allen White’s focus on his daughters’ well-being and happiness serves as a reminder of the importance of family.

His ability to juggle his professional achievements with his personal life is a testament to his character and priorities.

As “The Bear” continues to captivate audiences, White’s portrayal of his character and his real-life role as a father will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression.

His daughters, though still young, will one day understand the full scope of their father’s accomplishments and the love and dedication he has for them.
