After 15 years off the air, King of the Hill is officially coming back! Hulu announced that the beloved animated series will return with a 10-episode revival season starting August 4.

The new Season 14 picks up several years later, with Hank and Peggy Hill now retired after working in Saudi Arabia. They return to their hometown of Arlen, Texas, only to find it’s not quite the place they left behind.

Meanwhile, their son Bobby, now 21 years old, is thriving as a chef in Dallas, enjoying adulthood and reconnecting with childhood friends like Connie, Joseph, and Chane.

Fans of the original will be happy to know the show still centers around its quirky cast of characters—Hank’s oddball pals Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill, along with Peggy’s friends Minh and Nancy—as they all adjust to a new era in Arlen.

The revival features the return of original voice actors Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss.

Created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, the Emmy-winning series originally aired for 13 seasons on Fox with over 250 episodes. All previous episodes are currently available to stream on Hulu.

The new season is produced by 20th Television Animation, with executive producers Mike Judge, Greg Daniels, Saladin Patterson (new showrunner), Michael Rotenberg, Howard Klein, and Dustin Davis.

Hulu also dropped a first-look clip of the show’s updated intro—hinting at fresh but familiar vibes. Fans, mark your calendars—Arlen’s most iconic propane salesman is back!
