The pop icon graced the red carpet in a striking white Selva gown adorned with a unique feature: a car part. Gaga’s outfit, a breathtaking white, strapless creation, featured intricate hole detailing and a white metal structure across the top and waist.

“On the red carpet, I told them it was a car part. They said what kind, and I said I don’t know, I’m not a mechanic,” Gaga humorously shared on Instagram, where she posted several images of her ensemble.

The premiere, held at the Nya West event venue, was not only a showcase of Gaga’s distinctive fashion but also a revelation of her resilience and commitment. During a Q&A session before the screening, Gaga disclosed that she had performed five shows of the Chromatica Ball tour while battling COVID-19.

“I did five shows with COVID,” she confessed. Despite the risk, she insisted on performing, driven by her dedication to her fans.

“I shared it with everyone on my team and said, ‘I don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable at work and you don’t have to perform and you don’t have to work that day, but I’m going to do the show,’ because I just didn’t want to let all the fans down,” Gaga explained. She also described her internal struggle and empathy for her fans, noting that they too faced risks by attending her shows.

Gaga reflected on the emotional and artistic journey of the Chromatica Ball tour, describing it as a period of renewal and transformation. “The Chromatica Ball and this album in a lot of ways was the end of a time in my life and the beginning of a totally new one,” she stated. Gaga saw the tour as a way to confront and move past old wounds and challenges, embracing a new aesthetic and sound.

“This tour from an aesthetic perspective was totally different than what I put out with the album. And even musically, what we did live was different than the record,” she noted, highlighting her courage in exploring a brutalist aesthetic that marked a departure from her previous work.

Looking ahead, Gaga hinted at exciting new musical projects. “I am in the studio every single day. I have written so many songs, I’ve been producing so many songs, and it’s nothing like anything that I’ve ever made before, but I love to break genre and I love to explore music,” she revealed, promising that her future releases will continue to push boundaries.

In addition to her musical endeavors, Gaga’s acting career is also on the rise. She is set to debut as Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker in “Folie á Deux,” premiering on October 4, 2024. Despite her busy schedule, Gaga’s personal life seems to be flourishing as well.

She attended the premiere with her boyfriend Michael Polansky, a tech entrepreneur and philanthropist, with whom she has been linked since 2020. Recently, engagement rumors sparked when Gaga was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger.

The premiere event, which included a standing-room-only screening, saw Gaga enthusiastically interacting with her fans and boyfriend, even jumping up and down during performances of “Monster” and “Stupid Love.”

The HBO special chronicles Gaga’s 2022 Chromatica Ball tour stop at Dodger Stadium in L.A., where she performed to a sold-out crowd of 52,000 people. In a social media post, Gaga expressed her excitement about sharing the film with the world, calling it “a time of immense creativity” and reflecting on the powerful energy and connection she felt with her fans during the tour.

Chromatica,” released in May 2020, featured hits like “Stupid Love” and “Rain on Me” with Ariana Grande, the latter of which earned a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The Chromatica Ball tour spanned 20 shows across Asia, North America, and Europe from July to September 2022.

As Gaga continues to evolve both artistically and personally, her unwavering dedication to her craft and her fans remains a constant. The premiere of “Gaga Chromatica Ball” on May 25 at 8 p.m. EST/PST on HBO, available for streaming on Max, is yet another testament to her dynamic and ever-changing artistic journey.
