Sánchez stuns in black gown at New York charity dinner with Bezos supporting women’s cause
On Monday, September 9, Lauren Sánchez, 54, attended a special charity dinner in New York City. The event was held to support the Kering Foundation, which helps women who have faced violence.
Sánchez looked beautiful in a black mermaid-style gown that had long sleeves and lace flowers on it. Her dress was off-the-shoulder, and she wore shiny silver earrings. She also styled her hair in an elegant updo.
Even though her fiancé, Jeff Bezos, 60, did not walk the red carpet with her, the two met up inside the event. Together, they spent time with other famous people like Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Alessandra Ambrosio. Sánchez later posted pictures from the night on her Instagram, saying how much fun it was to get dressed up and be around good company.
She also mentioned that she was nervous about her upcoming book launch, but the evening helped calm her down. She expressed her gratitude for being part of the event and supporting the cause alongside actress Salma Hayek.
In an interview with Elle magazine, Sánchez talked about her love for fashion and how her style is influenced by her Latin roots. She compared her fashion choices to those of other famous Latina women like Sofía Vergara and Salma Hayek.
Sánchez explained that she enjoys expressing herself through her clothing, even though not everyone may like it. But for her, staying true to who she is and celebrating her culture is what’s most important.
This isn’t the first time Sánchez has impressed people with her fashion. Earlier this year, in May, Sánchez and Bezos attended their first Met Gala together. At that event, Sánchez wore a custom-made dress by designer Oscar de la Renta.
The dress had a special floral skirt that looked like shattered glass, inspired by the famous glasswork of artist Louis Comfort Tiffany. In an interview with Vogue, Sánchez said that the dress was more than just something to wear.

For her, it represented how life can sometimes feel broken but can still be pieced back together to make something beautiful.
Sánchez and Bezos, who often attend high-profile events, are passionate about giving back. By attending the Kering Foundation’s dinner, they showed their support for important causes, like helping women who have experienced violence.
The night brought together many celebrities, activists, and philanthropists, all working together to raise money and awareness for a good cause.
With her book launch coming soon, the event was also a chance for Sánchez to reflect on her journey. Overall, it was a night of glamour, good company, and making a difference.
