Lil Wayne returns to Alabama with Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington at Orion Amphitheater on Sept. 24.

Get ready, Huntsville! Legendary rapper Lil Wayne is bringing his 2025 tour to Orion Amphitheater this fall, and hip-hop fans are already buzzing. The Grammy-winning artist is set to perform at the iconic outdoor venue on September 24, marking another huge moment in Alabama’s concert calendar.
The Orion Amphitheater is no stranger to big-name acts, and Lil Wayne joins a growing list of hip-hop royalty taking the stage this season. Earlier in the summer, the venue will host a No Limit Soldiers reunion show headlined by Master P on June 27. Now, with Weezy in the lineup, it’s shaping up to be a massive year for rap fans in the South.
Lil Wayne — born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. — is known for his chart-topping hits like “Lollipop,” “She Will,” “Love Me,” “Mrs. Officer,” and “Forever.” In the early 2000s, he solidified his place in rap history with the release of Tha Carter trilogy, including the platinum-selling albums Tha Carter (2004), Tha Carter II (2005), and Tha Carter III (2008).
This tour stop comes shortly after his May 2025 performance at Birmingham’s Legacy Arena, but fans who missed out now have another shot to see the rap icon live. Plus, Lil Wayne is dropping his much-anticipated 14th studio album, Tha Carter IV, on June 6, so the Huntsville show is sure to include some fresh new tracks.
The show will also feature some high-energy support acts. First up is Tyga, who’s known for hits like “Rack City” and his collaboration with Wayne on “Faded.” Tyga is also a pop culture favorite, having dated stars like Kylie Jenner and Avril Lavigne. Kicking off the night is rising Atlanta trap artist Belly Gang Kushington, bringing some Southern heat to the stage.
Tickets for the Lil Wayne concert go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and will be available through the Orion Amphitheater box office (701 Amphitheater Drive N.W.) and online at theorionhuntsville.com. Ticket prices will be announced online at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, just ahead of the first round of pre-sales.
If you’re a diehard Weezy fan or just love a good night of hip-hop, this show is one you won’t want to miss. With a new album on the way and a killer lineup, September 24 is set to be one unforgettable night in Huntsville.
