Oasis reunites after 15 years as Liam and Noel Gallagher kick off their world tour in Cardiff, thrilling fans with iconic hits and a powerful setlist.

Oasis’s long-awaited reunion tour roared into life on Friday night at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, marking the first time Liam and Noel Gallagher have shared a stage since their acrimonious split in 2009.
The Manchester legends were preceded by a strong supporting lineup: Richard Ashcroft, frontman of The Verve, and Liverpool-based rockers Cast warmed up the crowd, setting the stage for what many hoped would be a definitive celebration of Britpop’s golden era.
Despite the possibility of new material—Oasis hasn’t released an album since 2008’s Dig Out Your Soul—this tour is very much a look back.
Last year saw the 30th anniversary of their debut, Definitely Maybe, and this October will mark three decades since their breakthrough sophomore record, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?.
Hits from both albums remain central to the setlist, fuelled by anthems like “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” and “Champagne Supernova.”
On opening night, the band blasted through the first four tracks with palpable energy: “Fuckin’ in the Bushes,” “Hello,” “Acquiesce,” and “Morning Glory,” a fitting kickoff to a show expected to run over two hours.
Following Cardiff, the tour heads to Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin before crossing the Atlantic.
In August, North American dates include Toronto, East Rutherford (N.J.), Chicago, Los Angeles, and Mexico City; the band then returns to London’s Wembley Stadium for two final U.K. appearances in September.
From there, Oasis will extend their reach across Asia, Australia, and South America, hitting cities in South Korea, Japan, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
Ticket demand was off the charts, crashing Ticketmaster’s systems almost immediately and sparking fresh controversy over dynamic pricing and third-party resellers.
Fan outrage prompted the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority to launch an investigation, and 50,000 suspect tickets were ultimately voided.
As Liam and Noel navigate both their legacy and lingering tensions, fans are eager to see whether the unpredictable chemistry that made Oasis a global phenomenon will hold firm.
With a setlist packed full of beloved classics and the promise of surprise moments, opening night in Cardiff suggests this reunion tour could live up to its storied hype—and perhaps even add a few new chapters to the Gallagher saga.
