RHOA pays tribute to Porsha Williams’ late cousin Londie Favors, highlighting her sudden passing and the cast’s emotional support during the episode.

The June 22 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta unfolded largely around Porsha Williams’ unexpected absence from a cast event and the heartbreaking reason behind it: the sudden passing of her cousin, Yolanda “Londie” Favors.
In August 2024, Williams confirmed that Londie had died at just 34 years old. At the time, Season 16 of the Bravo series was in production, and Williams chose to skip co-star Phaedra Parks’ Pampered by Porsha bedding launch event in order to grieve privately.
Early in the episode, cameras caught Williams on the phone with Parks. Through tears, Porsha explained, “It just was so sudden—so difficult. Londie was just the most giving person you could ever think of.
A loyal friend, endlessly creative with her company, and deeply committed to our grandfather’s foundation. She was the most honest, generous soul; it’s just a huge loss.”
The emotional weight of her words underscored how integral Londie had been not only to Porsha personally, but to the Williams–Favors family legacy.
Phaedra Parks, visibly moved, responded with compassion: “Please don’t worry about the event; we’ll be praying for you.
I know she was like another sister to you.” Parks’ empathy set the tone for the rest of the episode, shifting the usual “RHOA” drama into a moment of genuine solidarity.
Later, Parks informed the other Housewives of Londie’s passing. The cast’s reaction—ranging from stunned silence to tears—revealed how deeply they cared for Williams and her family.
Cynthia Bailey, reflecting on Londie’s character, said, “She was so sweet, so loving. This is just devastating.” Even amid past conflicts and rivalries, the group rallied around Porsha, offering hugs, prayers, and assurances of support.
In a confessional, Parks summarized the collective sentiment: “We fall out, but at the end of the day, we are sisters. We’ve got to stick together and really support one another, because you never know when it’s the last time.”
That sense of unity prevailed over catfights and catwalks, reminding viewers of the bond that can form when tragedy strikes.
The episode concluded on a somber note: a title card reading “In Loving Memory. Yolanda ‘Londie’ Favors. 1989–2024.” Through heartfelt tributes and unguarded emotion, RHOA honored Londie’s life and legacy, offering both Williams and the audience a sincere moment of remembrance.
