Rod Stewart cancels U.S. shows due to flu but confirms Glastonbury performance.

Legendary British singer Rod Stewart has announced the cancellation of four U.S. concerts and the rescheduling of two others as he recovers from the flu.
The 80-year-old performer took to Instagram to break the news to fans, apologizing for the inconvenience and expressing his disappointment.
“I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu,” he wrote, signing off “Sir Rod” with a broken-heart emoji.
The cancelled shows were set to take place in Las Vegas and Stateline, Nevada, while the two rescheduled dates are in California. Stewart’s team has not provided specific new dates but emphasized that he is focusing on regaining full health before returning to the stage.
Despite the setback, Stewart remains committed to performing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, where he is scheduled for a highly anticipated legends slot on the Pyramid Stage.
The performance will mark a significant milestone, as he will become the first artist to receive the “legends” billing after having previously headlined the festival. His last Glastonbury appearance was in 2002 alongside Coldplay and Stereophonics.
Scheduled to perform for 75 minutes, Stewart is expected to draw a massive crowd of up to 100,000 fans. Known for iconic hits like Maggie May, Sailing, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?, and The Killing of Georgie, Stewart has sold more than 120 million records over a career spanning six decades.
This year’s Glastonbury headliners also include The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo. Stewart has previously stated his plans to stop touring on a large scale after 2024, making his upcoming Glastonbury set even more special for fans.
While his recent illness has forced some changes, Stewart reassures fans that he is on the mend and excited to deliver a memorable performance at one of the world’s most iconic music festivals.
