AMC’s New York Comic Con panel brought double the excitement — with fresh faces joining ‘The Vampire Lestat’ and a first look at ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ Season 4.

AMC Networks made a big splash at New York Comic Con this weekend, revealing exciting updates for two of its most popular universes — Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
The spotlight first shone on The Vampire Lestat, the upcoming third season of Interview with the Vampire, which will hit screens in 2026.
Fans were treated to the news of five major additions to the cast: Sheila Atim (The Woman King) will play the legendary queen Akasha, Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek) steps in as Larry, Ryan Kattner (Destroy All Neighbors) joins as Salamander, Seamus Patterson (Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities) takes on the role of Alex, and Sarah Swire (The Boys) rounds out the newcomers as TC.
The announcement was made during the “Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe” panel, where cast members Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Eric Bogosian, Assad Zaman, and Jennifer Ehle joined executive producers Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch to debut an exclusive teaser. The sneak peek gave fans a taste of what’s to come in the next chapter of Lestat’s dark and seductive story.
This marks the continuation of AMC’s expanding “Immortal Universe,” which also includes the upcoming series Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order. During the panel, attendees got an early look at that show too — a mysterious new drama centered around the secret society that keeps tabs on vampires, witches, and other supernatural beings.
Talamasca will premiere with a two-episode debut on October 26, just in time for Halloween.
AMC didn’t stop there. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon also took center stage at the event. Star and executive producer Norman Reedus joined Melissa McBride, Scott M. Gimple, David Zabel, and Greg Nicotero to discuss what’s next for Daryl and Carol as they continue their emotional journey home.
Fans were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at Season 4 and an exclusive sneak peek at the Season 3 finale, which promises high-stakes drama and emotional reunions.
With The Vampire Lestat expanding the gothic side of AMC’s lineup and Daryl Dixon keeping the zombie world alive, the network proved it’s doubling down on its fan-favorite franchises.
