Introduction
Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked cookies! This American classic blends gooey chocolate chips with crunchy pecans for a perfect treat.
Ingredients (Part 1)
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Ingredients (Part 2)
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream Butter & Sugars
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs & Vanilla
Mix in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture.
Fold in Chocolate Chips & Pecans
