‘RHOP’ star thanks fans for their prayers after being charged with multiple counts of insurance fraud alongside her husband.

The Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo is speaking out for the first time since her arrest earlier this month on multiple fraud charges — and she’s leaning on faith and family through it all.
The 40-year-old reality star and political commentator took to Instagram over the weekend to address fans after a tumultuous few weeks. “And through it all, GOD remains faithful,” she wrote alongside a glamorous portrait of herself, set to gospel singer Koryn Hawthorne’s uplifting track “Look At God.”
“Thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time,” Osefo continued. “We are forever grateful 🙏🏾.” She ended the post with a reminder for fans to tune in to Bravo for a new episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Osefo and her husband, attorney Eddie Osefo, were indicted on 16 charges on October 9, including seven felony counts for allegedly filing false and misleading insurance claims.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the couple claimed they were victims of a home burglary last April while vacationing, reporting stolen luxury handbags and jewelry — including a diamond ring that investigators later spotted Wendy wearing in public. The couple reportedly filed an insurance claim totaling $450,000 in losses.
Authorities booked the Osefos in Westminster, Maryland, where they each spent a night behind bars before being released on a combined $100,000 bail.
In the wake of the controversy, Bravo made swift programming changes, pulling Osefo’s upcoming appearance on Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition. The new spinoff — which swaps Housewives stars with everyday mothers — was scheduled to debut with Osefo’s family featured in the premiere.
That episode has now been indefinitely delayed, with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Katsanevas stepping in for the October 21 premiere.
Osefo, who joined RHOP in 2020, has remained a fan favorite for her outspoken personality and sharp political insight. She is currently listed among the confirmed attendees for BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, though it remains unclear if she will still make an appearance.
The Real Housewives of Potomac is currently airing its milestone 10th season, featuring returning stars Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Stacey Rusch, and Keiarna Stewart, alongside newcomers Tia Glover and Angel Massie.
