Britney Spears has once again vanished from Instagram — and fans are growing increasingly concerned.

The pop icon, 43, deactivated her account on November 2 following a string of troubling posts and a public spat with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who recently released a tell-all memoir.

Fans noticed Spears’ page was unavailable, displaying a message that her “profile may have been removed.” The move came after weeks of erratic posts, including dancing clips with cryptic captions about her sons, Jayden James, 19, and Sean Preston, 20, who live in Hawaii with Federline.

One October video especially alarmed followers — it showed Spears with visible bruises and bandaged hands. She explained in the caption that she “fell down the stairs” at a friend’s house and used her dancing as a way to “express [herself] and pray through art.” She added, “I’m not here for concern or pity … I just want to be a good woman and be better.”

A few weeks later, on October 19, Spears opened up about the emotional toll of her 13-year conservatorship, revealing that during four months in rehab in 2018, she believed “brain damage happened to me.”

In the same post, she shared a photo of herself horseback riding and referenced Maleficent, symbolically comparing her shoulder blades to “wings.”

The posts followed renewed public attention from Federline’s new memoir, You Thought You Knew, which revisits their marriage, parenting struggles, and his fears for Spears’ wellbeing.

In excerpts shared by multiple outlets, Federline accused Spears of erratic behavior and infidelity, and expressed worry that “something bad” could happen to her.

Spears fired back on X (formerly Twitter), accusing Federline of “gaslighting” her and “profiting off [her] pain.” “Why is HE SO ANGRY?” she asked in one post, calling out his interviews as “literally attacking” her.

A representative for Spears told PEOPLE that the singer’s main focus remains her sons, despite the renewed controversy. “All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism,” the statement read.

While this isn’t the first time Britney has deleted her social media, fans remain uneasy — especially after her recent emotional messages and visible injuries. Many hope the singer is taking some private time to heal away from the spotlight.
