Love meets Las Vegas as Blake Shelton adds May dates opposite Gwen Stefani’s Sphere run, turning their marriage into playful rivalry lately.
Las Vegas is about to host more than just big concerts — it’s becoming the stage for a lighthearted face-off between one of music’s favorite couples.
As Blake Shelton extends his Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace, his newly announced May dates line up almost perfectly with wife Gwen Stefani’s highly anticipated shows at the Sphere, setting up a fun moment of “his-and-hers” bragging rights.
Shelton, known for his humor as much as his country hits, is already leaning into the joke. He recently shared that some good-natured “trash talking” is bound to happen at home as both artists draw crowds just a mile apart.
While the Sphere can welcome nearly 20,000 fans a night, Shelton’s venue, The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, offers a more intimate setting with just over 4,000 seats.
Shelton himself admits that selling out the Sphere is a different level, laughing that Stefani might hold that over him.
Still, the competition comes with plenty of love behind it. Fans see the overlapping dates less as a rivalry and more as a celebration of two successful careers that continue to thrive side by side.
The timing also shows how both artists balance busy schedules while making space for shared moments.
One such moment arrives on Valentine’s Day 2026, when the couple will headline the Endymion Extravaganza in New Orleans together.
Shelton jokingly calls it a romantic gesture, even if they’ll both be working. For him, simply being booked in the same city counts as a date.
Shelton’s newly added performances are set for May 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 21 and 24, 2026. Presales begin Feb. 2, with general tickets available starting Feb. 6.
As fans plan their trips, one thing is clear: in Vegas, love and music are sharing the spotlight.
