If you’ve been obsessively waiting for more A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder since Season 1 wrapped, good news — the wait is almost over.

Season 2 hits Netflix on May 27, and honestly? It looks like it’s going to be even better than the first.

Based on Holly Jackson’s bestselling novels, the show stars Wednesday breakout Emma Myers as teenage sleuth Pip.

Season 2 picks up right where things left off — Andie Bell’s murder has been solved, but life for Pip and Ravi is far from quiet.

Max Hastings’ trial is closing in, and just when you think things might settle down, a new crisis drops. Connor’s brother Jamie suddenly vanishes — and Pip has to find him before it’s too late.

Zain Iqbal is back as Ravi Singh, Pip’s love interest, and the new season brings in some fresh faces too: Misia Butler (Kaos), Eden H. Davies (Tell Me Everything), Jack Rowan (Noughts + Crosses).

Here’s the part that fans are going to love. Author Holly Jackson is officially joining screenwriter Poppy Cogan to adapt the second book in her YA mystery series, “Bad Blood,” for the screen.

Jackson couldn’t hold back her excitement — “I am BEYOND thrilled that we can continue Pip’s story and, this time, I’m writing on the show! We owe everything to the dedicated fans, and I can’t wait to reunite with my AGGGTM family!”

Look, when the person who wrote the books is personally involved in the adaptation, that’s usually a really good sign.

The six-episode season drops globally on Netflix on May 27. A few exceptions though: UK and Ireland BBC Three and iPlayer (also May 27). Germany, Austria, and Switzerland ZDFneo.

The show is produced by Moonage Pictures, part of ITV Studios, in a co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo. BBC Studios is handling global sales.

May 27 seriously cannot come fast enough.
