Jessica Lange is back in the conversation — and honestly, nobody saw this coming. After nearly eight years away, she’s returning to American Horror Story for Season 13, and fans are losing it.
Ryan Murphy Productions dropped three new set photos from the show. Lange is spotted peering out of an old window, rocking a blue outfit and heels. Her face isn’t fully visible, but that didn’t stop AHS fans from going absolutely wild in the comments.
She’s been a huge part of this franchise from day one — her turn as Constance Langdon in Season 1 is still talked about. She went on to play Sister Jude Martin, Fiona Goode, and Elsa Mars, and every single time, she owned the screen. Those roles basically built the show’s DNA.
Here’s the twist though — Lange told an interviewer in 2025 that she was done with AHS. Done. So seeing her back on set? Yeah, no one expected that.
So what’s she playing this season? Is Constance Langdon making a comeback, or is this a brand new character? Nobody knows yet — the show’s keeping it tight-lipped.
