Talk show host Howard Stern and his wife Beth Stern are being sued by their former executive assistant, Leslie Kuhn, in a New York court. The woman claims she experienced a hostile work environment during her time working for the couple.

According to TMZ, she was asked to move into the couple’s 20,000-square-foot Southampton mansion while working as their executive assistant. She alleges that Beth assigned her tasks such as managing the household staff, handling scheduling and payroll, and running the day-to-day — including the couple’s in-home cat rescue and fostering setup.

Kuhn claims she was fired less than two years after moving in. She alleges that her termination was the result of a hostile work environment, the fact that it was allowed to go on, and the overwhelming chaos she says came from the rescue animals inside the home.

While Kuhn did not provide further details about the “untenable” animal rescue situation, Howard and Beth have been pretty open about their love of rescuing cats. Beth has previously stated that more than 900 cats have lived in their home over a five-year period, though not at the same time.

Kuhn also alleges that a law firm representing Howard’s production company, One Twelve, handed her a separation agreement with a strict NDA attached. She claims the document was backdated to look like she’d signed it years before, when she first began working for Stern.

According to Kuhn, the NDA appears to have been signed before she even interviewed for the job. She further claims that the signature on the document is not authentic, stating it is simply her typed name in the same font style and size used elsewhere in the agreement.

Kuhn is now asking the court to declare the NDA unenforceable so she’s free to talk about her time there — and hit back if anyone comes at her.
