Kacey Musgraves recently shared an experience that went viral on social media. The country music star claimed that during a flight, she witnessed unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the sky that, according to her, kept up with her plane for hundreds of miles.
The incident occurred while Kacey Musgraves was traveling from Fort Worth, Texas, to Nashville. She was accompanied by her manager, Bobby Simmons. She posted about it on a series of Instagram Stories, describing it as pretty wild and unlike anything she’d seen.
According to Musgraves, she was about to rest during the flight when she noticed some weird lights in the sky. These lights didn’t look normal, so she kept watching. She reported seeing three orb-like objects moving in ways that made zero sense.
Musgraves made it clear that this was not the first time she had witnessed such strange phenomena. She stated that she had previously seen unexplained occurrences in the sky and says she’s always been observant, which allows her to notice such events.
She explained that she first spotted the orbs near Little Rock, Arkansas, while the plane was flying at an altitude of approximately 55,000 feet. She and her manager watched the lights for about 45 minutes.
According to her account, the movement and behavior of these orbs were unlike any conventional aircraft. The lights appeared and disappeared on and off and at times formed triangular patterns. They had an orange-like color but occasionally became extremely bright, changing both color and size.
Musgraves also mentioned that she and her manager asked the pilots about the sighting. The pilots reportedly confirmed that they had seen similar phenomena and claimed that such occurrences happen “every single night.” They further stated that colleagues in other states had reported similar experiences.
While admitting it was weird, Musgraves said she wasn’t scared — just fascinated. She also noted that this was just one of many unusual and unexplained events she has witnessed.
She encouraged her fans and followers to share if they had seen anything similar.
Interestingly, Musgraves claimed that as she was nearing home, she spotted another similar object in the sky. She also shared recordings taken from the plane, circling the lights with a white arrow. In one of the clips, a woman’s voice can be heard reacting with “Wow.”
In her posts, she further stated that the orbs “kept up with our plane for hundreds of miles.”
The following day, April 10, Musgraves posted again and responded to online reactions suggesting that the lights might have been satellites, drones, or Starlink.
She wasn’t buying it. She said she was familiar with how drones, satellites, and even Starlink appear, and insisted that what she saw was entirely different.
She described the objects as being at a very high altitude, moving at great speed, traveling in multiple directions, and continuously changing color and size. She said again that they remained alongside the plane over a long distance.
Wrapping up her posts, Musgraves zoomed out a bit, stating that humans have been witnessing such strange phenomena for centuries and have long tried to interpret them. She also brought up old historical and religious accounts where such sightings were depicted as “wheels of fire” or “chariots of fire.”
This incident has once again sparked discussions among people regarding mysterious sightings in the sky and the never-ending fascination with UFOs.
