“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards is in the middle of a messy family situation. TMZ reports that Kyle filed a lawsuit against her sister Kim Richards in January 2025.
The case was about Kyle’s condo in Encino. Kim had been living there for years — but Kyle wanted her out by the end of 2024.
Kim didn’t budge, so Kyle took it to court. She asked for possession of the condo and also wanted $140 a day in damages, starting from November 2024.
Kim never responded to the lawsuit. The court sided with Kyle and ordered Kim out in March 2025.
By June 2025, when the sheriff’s office attempted to serve the order, Kim had already moved out. Kyle finally got her condo back.
The sisters have had a rocky relationship for years — and this is just the latest chapter.
Things got worse for Kim around September 2024. After years of sobriety, she reportedly began drinking again.
During that time, she was found in a concerning state at a hotel and was placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold — which clearly alarmed the people around her.
Around the same time, there was also a dispute between Kyle and Kim at Kyle’s home, which led to police being called. No charges were filed, but the situation highlighted the growing stress within the family.
Following these incidents, the family decided to take a “tough love” approach with Kim — basically stepping back and letting Kim face consequences on her own.
But at the Season 14 reunion of “RHOBH,” Kyle and their sister Kathy Hilton shared an update on Kim.
Both said Kim has moved to Florida and seems to be in a better place.
