Lil Wayne is expanding his “Tha Carter” anniversary tour, adding more than 25 new dates across North America as he celebrates 20 years of his influential album series.
The rapper announced Tuesday that the extended run will give fans additional opportunities to see him live. 2 Chainz will join as a special guest on most dates, while The Game is set to appear at select stops.
The tour marks two decades since the launch of the “Tha Carter” series in 2004. Six albums have been released to date, including last year’s “Tha Carter VI.”
Tickets will be released in phases, beginning with a Citi presale on March 18 at 10 a.m. local time. An artist presale will follow the same day at 12 p.m., with general on-sale starting March 20 at 10 a.m. local time.
Citi, the official card partner for the 2026 tour, is offering cardmembers exclusive access to presale tickets from March 18 at 10 a.m. through March 19 at 10 p.m.
Ticket prices will vary by city and seating, with some starting around $123 and average prices near $172. VIP packages are expected to be significantly higher.
A limited “2-for-$75” offer will also be available for select dates using the code “DayOnes.”
Among the series’ releases, “Tha Carter III” remains the most commercially successful, debuting with more than one million copies sold in its first week. Singles such as “A Milli” and “Lollipop” helped establish Lil Wayne as a global star.
The tour is expected to feature a mix of classic hits and newer material, appealing to both longtime listeners and newer fans.
The expanded run highlights Lil Wayne’s enduring influence in hip-hop, with the anniversary tour shaping up as one of the year’s major live events.
