Earlier this week, following a shooting incident in Hollywood, Florida, rapper Offset was released from the hospital.
After being discharged, he shared that he is “good” but is “planning to be better.” The incident had caused a lot of worry among his fans and the music community, but news of his recovery came as a relief.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the Migos rapper thanked everyone who showed him love and support over the past few days. He said that he is currently focusing on his family, his recovery, and getting back to music. In his message, he also got real about life, stating that it is made up of quiet wins and loud losses. He further added, “Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”
Offset’s rep told Variety that he has been discharged from the hospital and is now up and walking. The representative also thanked the doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital staff who took great care of him.

The incident took place on Monday near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida, where Offset was shot. He was rushed to the hospital, and at the time, his representative stated that he was in stable condition and being watched closely.
During the investigation, a spokesperson for the Seminole Police Department confirmed that two individuals had been detained and that the investigation is still ongoing.
Things took a turn when, on the same night, rapper Lil Tjay was arrested in connection with the case. He was booked into Broward County Jail on a disorderly conduct (affray) charge, with bail set at $500. Additionally, he was charged with a traffic violation carrying a $2,500 bond. However, he was released from jail the following day. While exiting the facility, he referred to Offset as a “rat,” which kept the internet buzzing around the case.
Meanwhile, word got out on social media and other platforms suggesting that Lil Tjay was directly involved in the shooting. These claims were denied by his attorney, Dawn M. Florio, who came out and said that Lil Tjay was neither shot nor charged in any shooting. She also emphasized that any reports suggesting otherwise are completely false.
The case is still open, and authorities are still trying to piece together what happened. At the same time, news of Offset’s improving health has brought relief to his fans, while attention remains on further developments in the case.
