Netflix just dropped some big news for followers of the popular adventure series One Piece — an official season 3 title and a brand-new Lego animated project.

The third installment of the series drops under the title One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta and is set to drop in 2027. The story follows Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat crew as they head to the desert kingdom of Alabasta — Princess Vivi’s home turf.

The story kicks off with a full-blown crisis, where a rebellion pushes the nation to the brink of collapse. Behind the chaos is a powerful enemy and a secret organization dead set on taking control of Alabasta. With everything falling apart, the Straw Hat crew will face their biggest confrontation yet to save the kingdom.

The showrunners say this season will deliver a full-on war storyline — one loaded with deep emotions, tough decisions, and dangerous new enemies. Viewers can also expect fresh locations and stakes that are genuinely higher this time around.

And there’s more — a two-part Lego animated special is also on the way, hitting on September 29. It recaps the first two seasons in a brand-new Lego style, mixing action with some genuinely fun, goofy energy.

Netflix has also shared a preview of the upcoming anime project titled The One Piece — a new series that’ll retell the East Blue saga from scratch.

One Piece has racked up nearly 100 million views since its debut in 2023. Its second season dropped on March 10, 2026, shot straight to number one on the Global Top 10, and still holds the top spot.

One Piece Season 3 is officially titled “The Battle of Alabasta” — are you hyped? What are you hoping to see from the new enemies, and how do you think the Straw Hat crew handles the Alabasta crisis? Also, what’s your take on the Lego animated special and the new anime preview?
