Savannah Guthrie and Siblings Make Direct Plea to Kidnappers as Search for Missing Mother Intensifies

Savannah Guthrie and her siblings issued a quiet, emotional plea to their mother’s kidnappers as authorities race to bring her home.

Savannah Guthrie is speaking not as a television anchor, but as a daughter in pain.

The Today show host appeared alongside her siblings, Annie and Camron Guthrie, in a somber Instagram video addressing the people believed to be holding their mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing for more than a week.

Holding hands and seated closely together, the family delivered a clear and emotional message: they have received the demand, and they are willing to comply.

“We received your message and we understand,” Savannah said in the video. “We beg you now to return our mother to us… This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reportedly abducted from her longtime home in Tucson, Arizona, late on Saturday, Jan. 31. Authorities say she was last seen shortly before 10 p.m., after family members dropped her off at her house.

When she failed to attend church the next morning, relatives reported her missing.

Investigators later confirmed troubling signs at the scene, including a trail of blood on the front steps of the home and damage to a Ring camera near the front door. Officials believe the blood belonged to Nancy, and law enforcement has said they suspect she was taken against her will.

The FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are now leading the investigation. Officials have acknowledged receiving messages believed to be tied to the disappearance, including an alleged ransom note that set deadlines for payment.

Authorities say they are carefully reviewing the messages to confirm their authenticity.

Despite the disturbing details, officials have expressed cautious hope. On Feb. 4, Sheriff Chris Nanos said investigators believe Nancy is still alive.

Savannah has remained in Arizona with her family as the search continues.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to Nancy’s recovery or the arrest of those responsible.

Anyone with tips is urged to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or local authorities.
