Seventeen made a triumphant return to Los Angeles, performing two energetic, sold-out nights at BMO Stadium on October 16 and 17 as part of their New_ World Tour.

The shows marked the 13-member K-pop group’s first time back at the venue since November 2024, though only nine members — S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, The 8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino — took the stage, with Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi currently serving in South Korea’s mandatory military enlistment.

The tour celebrates Seventeen’s 10th anniversary and latest album, Happy Burstday, featuring dynamic performances of tracks like “Thunder” and “Bad Influence.” The latter, produced by Pharrell Williams, debuted at Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2025 runway show — a fitting nod to the group’s growing fashion influence, with Mingyu serving as a Dior ambassador and Calvin Klein model.

Each concert blended powerful group numbers with solo stages showcasing individual artistry — a move the members described in an earlier Hollywood Reporter interview as part of their evolution. “We’re preparing for a new path ahead and ready to blaze a new trail,” said leader S.Coups, while Hoshi emphasized highlighting each member’s personality and skill.

Fans, known as Carats, were treated to a setlist spanning Seventeen’s career, including hits like “Hot,” “Rock With You,” “Dar+ling,” and “F*ck My Life,” alongside fan-favorite deep cuts “A-Teen,” “9Teen,” and “20.” As always, the group closed with multiple encores of their iconic 2016 track “Very Nice,” encouraging fans to sing along as they moved through the crowd.

While members acknowledged uncertainty about when they’d next perform together as a full group, they reassured fans of Seventeen’s enduring bond. “We know that we are going to stay together,” Woozi told THR. “This is just a long preparation phase for the next album that’s going to be even better and greater.”

Seventeen’s New_ World Tour continues in the U.S. with upcoming stops in Sunrise, Florida, and Washington, D.C., before heading to Japan.
