Chicago rapper Adamn Killa just got what he’s been asking for — kind of. After months of pleading with police officers to arrest him, the “Mr. Perfect” rapper was briefly cuffed and detained by Chicago PD this week, but things didn’t quite end the way he probably imagined.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the wild moment went down on Monday when officers stopped a vehicle in Downtown Chicago. That’s when Killa, whose real name is Adam Kelly, reportedly walked up to the scene and interrupted the officers — once again repeating his signature catchphrase, “Arrest me, Daddy.”

Police say Killa was detained and placed in the back of a squad car for about 20 minutes before being released without any charges. The Chicago PD confirmed that he wasn’t actually arrested, though they did file an “investigatory stop report.”

And in true Adamn Killa fashion, he didn’t let the moment pass quietly. He hopped on Instagram soon after to share a video of his detainment.

For fans who’ve been following his antics, this scene was practically inevitable. Over the past few months, Killa has been making waves on social media with a bizarre series of clips showing him taunting police officers, turning around with his butt out, and repeating the now-viral line, “Arrest me, Daddy.” He even does a little dance while clasping his hands together.

The videos have racked up thousands of views, with fans both laughing and cringing at his bold behavior. Some think it’s a publicity stunt; others say it’s Killa’s way of trolling authority. Either way, it’s working.

As of now, Killa hasn’t commented further on the latest incident beyond the footage he posted. But if his past behavior is any clue, it wouldn’t be shocking to see him lean into the chaos.
