One of the biggest fixtures on the U.S. festival calendar, Lollapalooza has revealed a robust lineup for its 2026 edition, bringing together a wide spectrum of global talent.

Headliners this year include Olivia Dean, Lorde, Charli XCX, Tate McRae, Jennie, The Smashing Pumpkins and The xx—a mix poised to reinforce the event’s global reach.

Organizers say this year’s programming leans heavily into diversity, offering something for nearly every listener. From indie and mainstream pop to heavy rock and electronic sounds, the lineup underscores the festival’s evolving identity as a genre-spanning showcase.

Additional acts on the bill include Lil Uzi Vert, Zara Larsson, Turnstile, Clipse, Yungblud, Leon Thomas, Wet Leg, Aespa, The Chainsmokers and Muna. Emerging names such as Audrey Hobert, Sienna Spiro, Die Spitz, Adéla and Skye Newman are also expected to draw attention.

The festival’s growing global profile follows a milestone-filled 2025 edition. K-pop made history when TWICE became the first female K-pop act to headline, delivering a widely praised set capped by a large-scale drone light show.

Country music also broke new ground that year, with Luke Combs taking a headlining slot—signaling the event’s continued expansion across genres.

On the ticketing front, pre-sale for the 2026 event begins Thursday, with four-day general admission passes starting at $399, marking a $14 increase from last year’s entry price.

In 2025, four-day GA passes launched at roughly $385 before climbing through tiered pricing to between $415 and $450. Single-day tickets ranged from $149 to $189.

Higher-tier options last year included GA+ passes starting at $715, VIP at $1,565 and Platinum packages beginning at $4,500.

The festival’s tiered system means prices rise as lower-cost allotments sell out—a factor that pushed late buyers to pay upwards of $600 for four-day passes in 2025.

As in previous years, additional charges such as Chicago’s amusement tax and service fees are applied on top of listed prices.

The 2026 edition is set for July 30 through August 2 at Grant Park in Chicago. Organizers note that prices are likely to increase further once general sales begin, though updated tiers have yet to be detailed.

More than three decades after its launch by Perry Farrell, Lollapalooza remains a cornerstone of the global festival circuit.

What began as a touring event has since expanded into an international brand, with editions held in countries including Brazil, Chile and Germany.

As anticipation builds, the 2026 installment is shaping up to deliver another high-profile, cross-genre experience for music fans worldwide.
