Celine Dion brought the holiday laughs this Christmas Eve with a playful video that quickly delighted fans online.

The legendary singer shared a clip on Instagram showing herself fully transformed into the Grinch — complete with bright green makeup, fuzzy costume, and a mischievous smile — proving she still knows how to have fun while spreading holiday cheer.

The video opens with Dion sitting by a cozy fireplace, casually singing the opening lines of her iconic hit “All by Myself.” But the moment doesn’t stay serious for long.

She soon launches into a humorous parody of the Grinch’s famous monologue from the 2000 Jim Carrey film How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Channeling the character’s dramatic tone, Dion complains about being invited out at the last minute. “The nerve of those Whos, inviting me down there on such short notice,” she jokes, while holding a small dog dressed in antlers — a clear nod to the Grinch’s loyal dog, Max.

She then rattles off an over-the-top schedule that includes everything from exercising her voice and waking up her children to “solving world hunger” and wrestling with her creative ideas.

The singer continues the bit by joking that she might rearrange her plans just to lie in bed scrolling endlessly through TikTok — or maybe simply wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Still, Dion couldn’t resist ending the video on a musical note. She closes by returning to “All by Myself,” softly singing the opening lyric, reminding fans why the song remains one of her most beloved performances.

Originally released by Eric Carmen in 1975, “All by Myself” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Dion’s powerful 1996 cover, featured on her album Falling Into You, became a massive hit in the U.S. and is still closely tied to her legacy today.

Fans flooded the comments with praise, calling the video hilarious, heartwarming, and proof that Dion’s sense of humor is as iconic as her voice.

From festive costumes to classic vocals, Celine Dion once again proved she can steal the spotlight — and maybe Christmas too.
