Reports have surfaced suggesting that rapper Foogiano may have been released from prison. While there has been no official confirmation, recent social media activity from people close to him has fueled speculation about his release.

On April 21, producer SpiffoMadeIt shared a photo with Foogiano on his Instagram Story, captioned “No More Free Foo,” which many have interpreted as a sign that the rapper is no longer incarcerated. Foogiano’s personal photographer also appeared to support the claim, posting “Stay free welcome home Foo.”

Foogiano’s legal troubles date back to December 2020, when he was stopped by police in Georgia. During the stop, officers reportedly found a firearm and cash in his possession. At the time, he was already on probation in connection with a prior case, which made the situation more serious.

After being granted bond, Foogiano was released under strict conditions, including the requirement to wear a GPS ankle monitor. However, he later violated those conditions. According to reports, he destroyed the ankle monitor and fled, prompting authorities to issue a warrant for his arrest.

He remained on the run for approximately three months before being apprehended by federal agents in Memphis in March 2021.

Following his arrest, the case proceeded through the courts, and in May 2021, Foogiano was sentenced to five years in prison. The sentence reflected both the firearm-related charge and his violation of court orders, including fleeing supervision.

Foogiano has been associated with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Global label. He is among the few remaining artists connected to the label, alongside Pooh Shiesty, after Gucci Mane announced in October 2024 that he would be releasing most of his roster.

Separately, Pooh Shiesty was recently reported to have been arrested in an unrelated case involving allegations that he forced Gucci Mane to sign a contract release form at gunpoint.
