The upcoming “Baywatch” reboot continues to build momentum as actor Hassie Harrison joins the cast, bringing a determined Olympic-level lifeguard to the new series.

Fox’s upcoming “Baywatch” revival is adding another familiar face to its growing lineup.
Actor Hassie Harrison, known for her role in Yellowstone, has officially joined the cast of the network’s highly anticipated reboot, set to premiere during the 2026–2027 television season.
Harrison will play Nat, a disciplined and talented lifeguard with an inspiring backstory. According to the show’s character description, Nat is a former foster child who went on to become an Olympic athlete. On the beach, she sets the bar high for everyone around her.
She is smart, determined and deeply loyal, especially to Hobie Buchannon, whom she supports as both a trusted teammate and close friend.
Her strong sense of responsibility, however, can sometimes make relationships challenging both on and off duty.
The reboot is already drawing attention with a mix of new characters and returning connections to the original series. Stephen Amell leads the show as Hobie Buchannon, now a Baywatch captain following the legacy of his father, legendary lifeguard Mitch Buchannon.
The story takes a personal turn when Hobie discovers he has a daughter, Charlie Vale, played by Jessica Belkin, who hopes to join the lifeguard team and continue the family tradition.
Fans of the original show will also see a familiar face return. David Chokachi reprises his role as Cody Madison, who now runs a beachside bar-and-grill called The Shoreline.
Though he mostly manages the spot where lifeguards gather, Cody occasionally returns to the water for rescue duty and acts as a mentor to the younger team members.
The new series has a 12-episode order from Fox. It will be led by showrunner Matt Nix, with McG directing the premiere episode. The project is produced by Fox Entertainment and Fremantle, with several longtime Baywatch creators also involved as executive producers.
Beyond Yellowstone, Harrison has appeared in projects such as the thriller Dangerous Animals and is set to appear in upcoming films including The Rescue, Deep Eddy and Raven.
With casting continuing and production underway, the reboot aims to bring a fresh generation of lifeguards—and high-stakes rescues—to the iconic beach drama.
