Soccer star Jorginho Frello accuses Chappell Roan’s team of aggressive behavior toward his 11-year-old daughter in São Paulo.

Brazilian soccer star Jorginho Frello has publicly criticized pop singer Chappell Roan and her team over an alleged incident involving his 11-year-old daughter at a hotel in São Paulo.
Frello shared the details in a series of Instagram Stories, describing the situation as “very upsetting” for his family.
According to Frello, his wife and daughter were in the city to attend Lollapalooza Brazil, where Roan is performing as a headliner this weekend. His daughter, a fan of the singer, had even made a sign out of excitement.
By coincidence, the family was staying at the same hotel as the artist. During breakfast, Roan reportedly walked past their table.
Frello said his daughter recognized the singer, became excited, and simply walked by to confirm it was her. He emphasized that she did not speak to Roan, ask for a photo, or interrupt her in any way.
“She just smiled and returned to her table,” Frello wrote, adding that the interaction was brief and respectful.
However, Frello claimed the situation escalated shortly afterward. He alleged that a security guard approached their table and spoke “in an extremely aggressive manner” to his wife and daughter.
The guard reportedly accused the child of “disrespecting” or “harassing” the singer, and even threatened to file a complaint with the hotel.
Frello said the confrontation left his daughter shaken and in tears.
“I don’t know at what point simply walking past a table becomes harassment,” he wrote.
The footballer, who plays for Flamengo, also reflected on his own experience with public life. He noted that he understands the importance of boundaries, but believes the response in this case was “completely disproportionate.”
Frello went on to criticize what he described as a lack of respect toward fans. “At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this,” he wrote.
He concluded his post with a pointed message, stating that without fans, artists “would be nothing,” and added that Roan does not deserve their affection.
Roan’s representatives have not publicly responded to the claims.
The Grammy-winning singer has previously spoken about setting boundaries with fans. In 2024, she asked people to stop invading her personal space, including not touching her or approaching her family and friends.
She has said that such limits are necessary for her to maintain a long-term career and protect her well-being.
In recent weeks, Roan was also seen confronting paparazzi in Paris, where she expressed frustration over being followed and photographed in public.
