R&B singer Lloyd slips onstage during an Alabama show, taking a fall mid-dance but laughing it off and assuring fans he’s perfectly fine.

R&B singer Lloyd had an unexpected — and hilarious — onstage mishap during a performance in Alabama on Friday night.
The “Girls Around the World” hitmaker was gearing up to launch into the fan-favorite track when a flashy dance move turned into a slip that sent him tumbling to the floor.
Wearing a bright yellow suit and surrounded by backup singers hyping up the crowd, Lloyd began spinning and shuffling across the stage. As he slid his left heel behind his right foot, a bandmate shouted, “Talk to them, Lloyd!” — but instead of breaking into the next part of the performance, he lost his balance.
His feet tangled, sending him forward as he fell directly into his microphone stand, taking it down with him. Despite the dramatic moment, Lloyd managed to avoid injuring his face or head, and the crowd watched as he burst into laughter while security helped him back to his feet.
The singer continued the show after the fall, smiling through it and proving he’s as much a good sport as he is a performer. Later, he reassured fans with a lighthearted message on Instagram, joking, “Saw my life flash before my eyes tonight lol,” alongside the viral clip.
Fortunately, Lloyd has a day off before his next scheduled performance in Memphis, Tennessee. While his Alabama fall caught plenty of attention, fans praised his ability to recover gracefully and keep the show going.
While he may want to rethink some of his slick footwork — or pick up a pair of grippier shoes — Lloyd’s sense of humor and professionalism turned an onstage slip into a memorable and crowd-pleasing moment.
