Paul Thomas Anderson’s ’One Battle After Another,’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio, hits digital platforms November before its Blu-ray release in January.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, the Oscar frontrunner starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is finally heading to home screens.
The critically acclaimed Warner Bros. film will be available for digital purchase starting Friday, November 14, on major platforms including Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and Fandango at Home, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Fans who prefer physical copies won’t have to wait too long either. The 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD editions will hit shelves on January 20, just two days before the 98th Academy Awards nominations are announced.
Later in spring 2026, a limited-edition steelbook release will arrive, featuring bonus content created by Anderson himself — a treat for collectors and cinephiles.
Fans are buzzing over the news that Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another will be hitting digital platforms this week — and the excitement on X (formerly Twitter) proves just how anticipated this release really is.
User @Chirag_S_kotian couldn’t contain their excitement, writing, “OMG that’s so soon! I can’t wait to see Leo and Alisha Wainwright in this together. Is PTA planning a limited theatrical run after the digital release?”
Another fan, @imYashksaini, summed up the film community’s anticipation perfectly: “Paul Thomas Anderson on digital = cinephiles’ Super Bowl weekend.”
Meanwhile, @BhagwanJiTalks marked the date with enthusiasm: “Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER’ dropping digitally on November 14 has me marking the calendar—ready to dive into his latest cinematic world.”
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a once-revolutionary turned washed-up stoner, raising his daughter (played by Chase Infiniti) off the grid after his wife (played by Teyana Taylor) went into hiding.
When his old nemesis (Sean Penn) resurfaces and his daughter vanishes, he’s forced to reconnect with old allies (Benicio del Toro and Regina Hall) to find her.
Since its release, One Battle After Another has been hailed as one of Anderson’s best works and is seen by many as the top contender for Best Picture.
Anderson — who has earned 11 previous Oscar nominations — could finally take home his first golden statue this year, with DiCaprio, Infiniti, del Toro, Hall, Penn, and Taylor all generating major awards buzz.
