‘Wicked: For Good’ Comes Home: Peacock Sets Sing-Along Streaming Debut Packed With Bonus Content

Grab your broomstick — “Wicked: For Good” is heading to Peacock on March 20 with a sing-along cut, deleted scenes and more.

After conquering the box office, Wicked: For Good is officially making the leap from movie theaters to living rooms.

Universal’s hit musical sequel will begin streaming on Peacock on March 20, giving fans a whole new way to return to Oz — and yes, that includes singing along at full volume.

The streaming release isn’t just a basic drop. Peacock’s version will feature a sing-along edition of the film, deleted scenes, and a full-length commentary from director Jon M. Chu, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how the ambitious sequel came together.

For longtime Wicked lovers and first-time viewers alike, it’s a chance to experience the story with fresh context and extra magic.

The film reunites Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, picking up where 2024’s Wicked left off. This time, Oz is on the edge of chaos as Elphaba’s story unfolds alongside the events of The Wizard of Oz, reframing the classic tale through her compassionate and misunderstood point of view.

Familiar faces return across the board, including Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, Michelle Yeoh as Madam Morrible, Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, Bowen Yang as Pfannee and Bronwyn James as ShenShen.

Chu also steps back behind the camera, completing his two-part vision for the beloved musical.

Based on Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel and the Tony Award–winning Broadway phenomenon by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman, the Wicked films bring decades of fandom full circle.

Producers Marc Platt and David Stone, who helped bring the stage show to life in 2003, also produced both movies.

Released in theaters on Nov. 21, Wicked: For Good opened to a massive $223 million worldwide, beating the original film’s record for the biggest opening ever for a Broadway adaptation.

By the end of its run, the sequel soared to $525 million globally, with Grande earning an Actors Award nomination for best supporting actress.

Now, with its Peacock debut, Wicked: For Good is ready for repeat viewings, couch karaoke sessions, and a whole new wave of fans discovering why Oz still casts such a powerful spell.
