Rapper Offset has been hospitalized after a shooting in Hollywood, Florida on Monday. According to his representative, he is currently in stable condition and being watched closely by doctors.
The representative said in a statement that Offset is being treated for a gunshot wound. They said the artist is receiving medical care at the hospital and is being closely monitored.
Not a lot is known yet about what went down. According to reports, the shooting took place near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida, where Offset was shot.
A representative from the Seminole Police Department stated that the incident occurred in a valet area after 7 p.m. on Monday, where one individual was injured. The injured person was immediately transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood. Police said the injuries were not life-threatening.
Police also shared that cops locked down the area pretty fast. Two individuals have been detained in connection with the case, and the investigation is ongoing. Officials say things are calm now and the public isn’t at risk.
Offset, 34, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, has been in the game for years. He was a member of the popular rap group Migos, alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The group blew up with tracks like “Bad and Boujee” and albums such as “Culture.”
Offset later began his solo career and released his debut album “Father of 4” in 2019. He followed it with “Set It Off” (2023) and “Kiara” (2025). He also recently released the album “Haunted by Fame,” which features several other artists.
Worth mentioning — in 2022, his cousin Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston at the age of 28. After that, Offset shared in an interview that opening up about losing Takeoff has been really hard, and he’s still not over it.
