Offset is facing a new lawsuit stemming from an alleged altercation at a Los Angeles dispensary earlier this year.

According to court filings, security guard Jim Sanchez is suing the rapper for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress after what he describes as a violent incident at the MedMen LAX location in March.

In the lawsuit, Sanchez claims he was on duty when Offset and several friends arrived at the dispensary. Sanchez says he requested identification from the rapper as part of standard security protocol — a routine step that he alleges set off a sudden escalation.

According to Sanchez, Offset “became hostile, verbally confrontational, and physically attacked Plaintiff by striking him in the face.”

The suit goes on to claim that members of Offset’s entourage also joined in, “further assaulting and battering” Sanchez during the dispute. Sanchez says he suffered intense headaches and severe neck pain after the incident, prompting paramedics to transport him to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

This isn’t the first time the altercation made headlines. Back in March, reports surfaced of a confrontation at the same dispensary, though Offset’s team strongly denied the accusations.

At that time, a representative for the rapper dismissed the claims as “complete and total BS,” asserting that Offset was not the aggressor.

Sources close to the rapper told TMZ Hip Hop that the security guard actually rushed toward Offset and even spat at him, leading to the physical confrontation. Those same sources alleged that Offset did punch the guard — but only after the guard initiated the altercation. They also claim Sanchez used a can of mace on Offset and his crew during the chaos.

With the lawsuit now officially filed, both sides appear firmly entrenched in their version of events. Sanchez is seeking damages for the injuries he says he suffered, while Offset’s camp has yet to issue a response to the latest legal action.
