The drama between two major internet personalities — Alex Cooper and Alix Earle — is back in the spotlight. For over a year, there have been reports of tension between the two, but recently Alex Cooper has openly shared her side of the story.
For several months, speculation about conflict between them had been circulating. Then on April 13, Alex Cooper went straight at it through a TikTok video. The 31-year-old called out 25-year-old Alix Earle by name, accusing her of creating “fake drama” to distract from other things happening in her personal life. And yeah, it only made things louder.
In her video, Cooper flat-out said that Alix Earle should speak directly instead of communicating through indirect or passive-aggressive actions. She pointed out that repeatedly reposting content, liking posts, and commenting in subtle ways was a messy move. Cooper also clarified that there was no NDA (non-disclosure agreement) preventing Earle from speaking out, emphasizing that she should address the matter openly.

The situation intensified a few days earlier when Alix Earle reposted a TikTok video from another content creator. In that video, Alex Cooper was criticized and described as “so awful” for sharing people’s stories when they are at their lowest points. Everyone clocked that as a big hint there was way more going on.

This whole thing started back in March 2025, when Alix Earle’s podcast “Hot Mess” exited the media network ‘Unwell,’ which was founded and operated by Alex Cooper. Earle was literally one of the OG creators on the network when it launched in 2023.
In the same month, Alex Cooper responded to Earle’s departure through a TikTok post. She stated that Earle’s inability to continue podcasting had nothing to do with ‘Unwell.’ Cooper also mentioned that she did not know why Earle was unable to podcast or what was happening in her life. Additionally, she clarified that ‘Unwell’ had returned everything to Earle and that Earle fully owns her intellectual property (IP).

Two months later, during an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Alix Earle spoke about the end of her relationship with ‘Unwell,’ saying that things behind the scenes were “a little bit of a hot mess.” Yeah, that wasn’t exactly subtle.
In August, Earle made another statement that fueled speculation about the feud. When a fan asked her on TikTok what had happened with Alex Cooper, she replied, “How much time do you have?” Everyone read that as a sign there was way more to the story.
In her most recent video, Cooper also threw in that Alix Earle was creating a “fake narrative” around the situation. She stated that both of them know what actually happened and urged Earle to speak openly, unless the version of events she was presenting was more interesting than the truth.
Toward the end of her statement, Cooper made it clear that she has nothing to hide regarding the situation. She added that unless Earle has something concrete to say, she’s done with it.
The feud between the two clearly hasn’t been fully resolved — and now everyone’s waiting to see if Alix actually says something.
