On April 25, 2026, Megan posted an Instagram Story that went viral within minutes. She did not name Klay directly — but nobody needed the name spelled out.
She wrote: “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got cold feet. Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? b—h I need a REAL break after this one… bye yall.”
The post made clear that Megan had stood by Thompson through difficult stretches of his basketball season — enduring his mood swings and difficult behavior — was introduced to his entire family, participated in what she described as playing house, only for Thompson to then express doubt about whether he could stay monogamous.
Hours after the Instagram Story, Megan confirmed the split through her rep to TMZ:
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
