Fans of The Hunting Wives may think they’ve already seen it all — but according to Brittany Snow, the most jaw-dropping moments are still to come.
The actress, who stars as Sophie O’Neil in the Netflix drama, is teasing a bold and unpredictable second season that raises the stakes on every level.
Speaking during the 2026 Golden Globes festivities, Snow hinted that season two will deliver a major twist, including a death that she describes as nothing short of “wild.”
From Snow’s point of view, the new episodes feel even more intense than the first season. “Every script is a new adventure,” she shared, noting that even the cast was surprised by how far the story goes this time.
While she stayed tight-lipped about who doesn’t make it out alive, she made it clear that the fallout will be emotional — and divisive. Viewers, she says, should expect shock, anger and excitement all at once.
Season one, based on May Cobb’s bestselling novel, introduced audiences to Sophie’s unsettling move from Boston to a wealthy Texas town. There, her growing bond with Malin Akerman’s magnetic socialite Margo Banks pulls her into a dangerous world of obsession, seduction and murder.
Season two continues to build on that foundation, pushing relationships and secrets even further.
Snow also confirmed that the show isn’t dialing back the heat. In fact, she says the opposite is true. The upcoming season features “more steamy” scenes, filmed with a playful and fearless energy that reflects the show’s daring tone.
“A lot of things happen this season that are very shocking,” she said, adding that the drama will leave fans “very angry — but in a sexy way.”
