Fans in Mexico hoping to see pop star P!nk perform live this spring will have to wait longer.

Two highly anticipated concerts scheduled in Mexico City have been officially canceled due to logistical complications described as outside the control of everyone involved.

Promoter Ocesa announced Friday (March 6) that the singer’s performances planned for April 26 and April 27 at GNP Seguros Stadium will not take place.

The company said the cancellation was caused by an “unforeseen circumstance” that affected the logistics required to stage the events.

According to the promoter, the issue was beyond the control of the artist, the promoter, and the venue itself. No further details about the specific logistical problem were shared.

The concerts were particularly meaningful for fans because they would have marked P!nk’s return to Mexican stages after more than two decades. Known for global hits such as the songs So What and Get the Party Started, the Grammy-winning performer has maintained a loyal fan base in Mexico despite her long absence from the country’s live music scene.

In its statement posted on social media, Ocesa acknowledged the disappointment fans may feel about the cancellation.

“We understand how much fans were looking forward to these concerts, and we deeply appreciate their understanding,” the promoter said.

Ticket refunds will be processed automatically for those who purchased seats online through Ticketmaster in Mexico. The company said buyers will receive full refunds—including service fees—directly to the payment card used during purchase.

The timing of the refund will depend on each bank’s processing schedule.

Fans who bought tickets at physical box offices will be able to request refunds at the same location where the tickets were originally purchased. Additional instructions are expected to be provided in the coming days.

The cancellation announcement also included two other shows scheduled in Mexico City, though the promoter stressed that they are unrelated to P!nk’s situation.

A concert by regional Mexican singer Carolina Ross, originally set for May 2 at Teatro Metropólitan, was canceled as well. Ocesa cited similar unforeseen logistical issues beyond the control of the artist, promoter, and venue.

Online ticket purchases for that show will also be refunded automatically, while box-office refunds will begin on March 12.

Another canceled performance involves Argentine rapper Lucho SSJ, who had planned to perform at Foro Puebla in the capital. Refunds for that event will follow the same process: automatic returns for online purchases and in-person refunds at the venue’s box office.

Despite the setback, fans remain hopeful that P!nk will eventually return to Mexico in the future. For now, ticket holders are being encouraged to follow official announcements for any updates regarding potential rescheduling or future tour plans.
