Saturday Night Live” delivered one of its most imaginative sketches of the week as host Miles Teller took on double duty, portraying both Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott.

The bit placed the HGTV renovation stars inside a wildly exaggerated scenario: helping Donald Trump design and build an enormous new ballroom inside the White House.

The sketch opens with Trump eagerly greeting the pair, thrilled that such well-known home-improvement celebrities have arrived to upgrade his presidential residence.

Teller seamlessly switches between the two brothers, with Jonathan humorously clarifying that he’s the one “who married the New Girl”—a playful nod that SNL cheekily amends, noting the couple is only engaged in real life.

As the mock consultation gets underway, Trump proudly showcases his “signature” decorating style. The brothers admire (or at least pretend to admire) his beloved golden urns, which Trump insists bring him comfort because “there’s really dark stuff happening in the world… some of it me.”

His self-aware jab earns big laughs as the sketch leans into Trump’s gaudy aesthetic and unpredictable personality.

The scene escalates when Melania Trump steps in to present her holiday décor. The Property Brothers at first believe they’re viewing Halloween decorations—thanks to the presence of skeletons, brittle tree branches and a gloomy palette.

Melania quickly corrects them: this is her Christmas display, intended to be festive rather than frightening. Her deadpan delivery adds another layer of absurdity to the sketch’s exaggerated world.

Despite the White House already boasting vast space, the Trumps insist they need much more. Trump confidently announces his renovation budget is “between 350 million and infinity,” brushing off any concerns about permits or regulations.

In classic SNL fashion, he even boasts that he could construct the ballroom “using the bones of my enemies,” adding that no one would be able to stop him. His final must-have addition: a fully installed MMA fighting ring inside the grand new space.

The sketch delivers a sharp blend of political satire and pop-culture parody, poking fun at Trump’s bold claims, the Property Brothers’ wholesome home-reno brand, and the idea of turning the White House into an over-the-top extravagant mansion.

Teller’s performance as both twins adds an impressive comedic twist, helping make the segment a standout moment of the night.
