Zendaya and Tom Holland have quietly added a new member to their growing family — and it may be the clearest sign yet that Hollywood’s most private couple is building a life together on their own terms.

In an interview published by Elle on May 21, the Euphoria actress revealed that she and Holland recently adopted a third dog — a pocket bully — from an animal shelter in her hometown of Oakland, California. The couple already shared a miniature schnauzer named Noon and a Doberman Pinscher. Adding a third, Zendaya admitted, was not exactly a logical decision.

“Logistically, it wasn’t probably the smartest idea,” she told the outlet. “But emotionally, it was. He’s a wonderful addition to our family.”

The timing of this family news carries extra weight.

At the 2026 Actor Awards in March, Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach stopped the red carpet when he told Access Hollywood that the couple’s long-anticipated wedding had already taken place — privately, without any public fanfare. “The wedding has already happened. You missed it,” Roach said, confirming his claim when pressed by reporters.

Neither Zendaya nor Holland’s representatives formally responded to the claim at the time.

When the subject came up weeks later on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Zendaya kept her answer playful and deliberately vague — neither denying the marriage nor confirming it. The couple had not publicly announced their engagement either, despite fans noticing a diamond ring on Zendaya’s finger at the 2025 Golden Globes.

The two have been intentional about keeping their relationship away from headlines since going public in 2021.

Sources close to the couple say their priorities have shifted in a significant way this year.

Multiple reports from earlier in 2026 indicated that starting a family has become the couple’s primary focus, with insiders describing Holland as having done considerable personal work to prepare for that next chapter. The new dog adoption appears consistent with that direction — a couple quietly expanding their shared home before any bigger announcements arrive.

At 29, both Zendaya and Holland are also at one of the busiest professional points of their careers — and, notably, they are navigating it together.

The two are set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, scheduled for a July 2026 theatrical release. Though they share no scenes in the film, Zendaya has spoken about watching Holland on set with visible pride.

They are also set to reunite on screen in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the next installment of the Marvel franchise that first brought them together in 2017.

The pocket bully, adopted from an Oakland shelter, now makes three dogs in the Holland-Zendaya household. Zendaya has previously described bringing her dogs to film sets as a regular practice — calling it, simply, a family affair.
