Paramount+ has officially renewed its drama series The Madison for a third season.

The show originally premiered in March, while its second season has already been filmed. However, no official release date has been announced yet for Season 2.

According to Paramount+, The Madison reached 8 million viewers within its first 10 days of release. That puts it among the biggest debuts from Taylor Sheridan on the platform.

The story follows the wealthy Clyburn family, whose lives are shattered after a tragic accident. Family patriarch Preston and his brother Paul are killed in a plane crash in Montana while visiting a ranch they frequently stayed at. After the crash, Preston’s widow Stacy takes the family to Montana as they attempt to cope with their loss.

The series was created by Taylor Sheridan, who also serves as an executive producer. Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell also take on executive producer roles while also starring in the series. Other executive producers include David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox. Christina Alexandra Voros directed all six episodes of the first season.

The Madison is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions.

Taylor Sheridan’s other projects on Paramount+ are also picking up steam. These include “Landman,” an oil industry drama preparing for its third season; “Tulsa King,” starring Sylvester Stallone, which is gearing up for its fourth season; “Lioness,” which is preparing for a third season; and the upcoming drama “Dutton Ranch,” a spinoff of “Yellowstone.”

The back-to-back renewals signal Paramount+ is betting big on the Sheridan universe.
